The groundbreaking ceremony for Romania's national pavilion at the 2025 World Expo in Osaka, Japan took place on Friday, with charge d'affaires a.i. at the Romanian Embassy in Tokyo Geta Medeleanu attending as head of the Romanian delegation, Mrs. Atsuko Hirooka, special general director of the Japan Association for Expo 2025 Osaka, participating as head of the Japanese delegation, and Thomas Quemin representing the Japanese company responsible for the construction of the Romanian pavilion - GL events K.K.
