First Patriot system to be contracted by the end of 2017, according to bill discussed by Gov't
Publicat:The first of the seven Patriot long-range surface-to-air missiles systems that Romania will purchase from the US will be contracted until 31 December 2017, according to a bill regarding the "Ground based air defense capability" corresponding to the essential endowment programme called "Long-range surface-to-air missile system" to be discussed on Wednesday at a government sitting.
The purchase costs of the first Patriot system amounts to 910.10 million US dollars, with the total estimated worth of the contract of approximately 4.64 billion US dollars, including the Value-Added Tax (VAT).
